Happy Hope Day

Went to our UUFF this morning and it was really packed; so many cute little girls all dressed up in their easter hats and carrying new easter baskets. Wendy our minister gave a comprehensive sermon about "additions" and how it is so pervasive in our culture. She said Jung really gave AA its beginning due to his comment that everyone needs to have a complete, holistic life including a spiritual path; his idea was that those individuals with addictions were suffering spiritual. Gaining a spiritual path gives us all hope for a new future. So instead of saying "Happy easter" I have been saying "Happy Hope" to everyone.
