Quiet Day in Flag

Ruby, Our Kid
Ruby is our "flea bitten kid"; she really does not have fleas but that is our nickname for her; she just celebrated her 10th birthday. She is so cute and runs all around with her ears flying back over her ears....I love her spots. Remember to do some art every day.....good nite

Happy Hope Day
Went to our UUFF this morning and it was really packed; so many cute little girls all dressed up in their easter hats and carrying new easter baskets. Wendy our minister gave a comprehensive sermon about "additions" and how it is so pervasive in our culture. She said Jung really gave AA its beginning due to his comment that everyone needs to have a complete, holistic life including a spiritual path; his idea was that those individuals with addictions were suffering spiritual. Gaining a spiritual path gives us all hope for a new future. So instead of saying "Happy easter" I have been saying "Happy Hope" to everyone. The picture I am including today is Ophie our cat who is always happy to walk on my keyboard and her most current note to everyone is..."oqeuru0r45u dmfoeriuqwe8ikd"; so if you know what that is let me know. We have had several days that have been warm but today it is really cold and grey. May all of you have a great day/night/evening/afernoon/morning--whatever meets your needs. Hello my friends, It is beautiful from my desk at home; I can see pink and orange clouds intermixed with dark ones and the sunset is reflecting on the clouds. There are about 10 pine trees I can see from the same desk including my cat walking all over my keyboard. Happy easter and painting easter eggs...ART & PLAY. nite nite

the abc's of life
Hi everyone, this is my first blog message. How amazing this "thing" we call "the blog"; new language; new behavior; new on-line friends; how wonderful to be here with all these new communication tools. I am excited about this. I have "watched" and "looked" and "read" many other bloggers over the last few months and now I want to try it for myself; I guess I looked at the pool and now I am going to get my feet wet. So, where am I? I am in our extra room with all my books, art projects, tv, ipod, and work projects in Flagstaff. So, I wonder if anyone will read this at any time? I really just want to do this for myself, my friends and family. The pix is from a recent trip to Kaui at a flower display next to their historical museum of Kaui. After I saw this flower I went and did our laundry....how maundane is that but "that is life". Good nite.
